Step 2. Revision:

1.Review days of the week,month of the year and ordinal numbers with “What day id it?”.

2. Review the seasons with a game.Write the words for the seasons out of order on the BB. Ask for volunteers to write them in the correct order and say them.

  Step 3.Key concepts:skate, ski, snow

1.Introduce:

  a. Demonstrate “ski” and “skate” with vocabulary cards that show Danny skiing and skating.Lead a dialogue such as:

                       T:(Hold up the card for “skating”)Look!Danny is skating.What is Danny doing?

                S:Danny is skating.

                T:(Hold up the card for “skiing”)Look!Now Danny is skiing.What is Danny doing?

                S:Danny is skiing.

b.Demonstrate “snow” and “ice”.Then lead a dialogue such as:
